New Beginnings

I've launched this website with my real name. It's both exciting and scary. Please be gentle with me while this site (and I) are under construction.

LIVE

I reside happily in the SC Lowcountry with my husband, son, dog, and two cats. I work a full-time remote job. I write stories. I give tours (occasionally). I lead yoga classes at my local senior center.

SCHOOL

I graduated from Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner, SC and the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC.

PAST LIVES

I lived in Memphis for 18 years and Pensacola for almost three.

I was born in the upstate of SC and moved to the Lowcountry when I was five. My ancestors have been in the upstate since the 1700s.

QUIRK

We put butter on your nose on your birthday to help you slide through the year.

FUTURE

My plan is to self-publish Cathy's Corner in May 2025. I'll keep you posted on that endeavor.
